Terms of use
These terms govern your use of ResponseHSC (“the service”). By accessing or using the service, you agree to them. If you disagree, do not use the service.
The service
ResponseHSC provides practice questions, AI-assisted marking, feedback, and related tools. Features and content may change. We do not guarantee availability, accuracy of AI output, or that the site is error-free.
Accounts
You must provide accurate sign-in information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or harm the service or other users.
Acceptable use
- Do not misuse the service, probe for vulnerabilities, scrape at scale, or interfere with other users.
- Do not submit unlawful, harassing, or harmful content.
- Do not rely on AI feedback as the only source of academic or legal advice.
Independence from NESA and schools
ResponseHSC is provided by an independent operator. We are not endorsed by, affiliated with, employed by, or sponsored by the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA), the NSW Department of Education, your school, or any government body. References to “HSC” or past papers describe the style of practice content only and do not indicate official certification, accreditation, or partnership.
AI marking and feedback
Marking and suggestions are generated by AI and are not official exam scores or advice from NESA, your school, or any authority. Use outputs for practice and learning only. Always follow your teacher’s guidance and official syllabus materials for high-stakes decisions.
Content
Practice questions and site materials are protected by copyright or licence. You receive a limited, revocable licence to use the service for personal, non-commercial study unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss and for loss arising from reliance on AI outputs. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (if any) or AUD $100, whichever is greater, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Termination
We may change, suspend, or end the service or your access with reasonable notice where practicable. You may stop using the service at any time.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and courts in that state have non-exclusive jurisdiction, unless consumer protection laws where you live require otherwise.
